The first Beatles album was better than the second one in my opinion.  The first one had more catchy songs and better lyrics I think, I mean dont get me wrong I am a huge Beatles fan they are really good and talented! Please Please me was just better. one more thing, if you listen to the Beatles for a while you start to notice that all their songs sound really similar. If they just changed them up a little I think it would have been a little better.
